Punjab team Celebrated 44th Foundation Day at LM Thapar School of Management. Dera Bassi. Mr. Nirlep Singh Rai, Former Chairman & MD, NFL, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest inaugurated the celebrations and held an engaging session on the theme ‘‘loving what you do and leading “. He spoke about passion for work and how one can develop a positive and inspirational relationship with work. Leading from the front and being a role model for the younger staff & employees to follow and look up to.
During the deliberations, he emphasized that life does not always give opportunity to take up profession or job of your choice and in order to perform and excel in whatever job you have to perform, one must inculcate the attitude of loving what you do. He cited many examples from real-life situation of employees from grassroot to senior level who out performed in life by enjoying the job while at work. The life situations in personal and professional front are not what you dream but instead of relenting the same if you start enjoying what you do, the life becomes a celebration and the results are amazing. He also highlighted the importance of this year Foundation Day theme -“Back to basics”, staying connected to the values, culture and ethos of the society gives unconditional support in performing.
Mr. S P Bansal, Regional Vice President, spoke on Foundation Day Theme while Mr. Ravinder Chadha, Chapter Chairman highlighted Chapter activities. Chapter vice Chairman Mr Bakshi and IMM Past Chairperson Ms Renu Singh along with faculty ,student Members and 200 Management students attended the Celebrations. National President Message was also played on this occasion. Dr. Karminder Singh thanked the Guests.
Student Chapter EC Team lead by Liza Bansal coordinated the event which was attended by Punjab EC team and Student chapter leadership Team.
