Expert session
As a part of knowledge sharing, a session by Col. Gursewak Singh, a Management Consultant and speaker, was organized on “It is all in the Mind-Health, Happiness or Stress”. The programme was attended by several HR Heads and professionals across industries from Private and Public sector companies from Punjab, Himachal and Chandigarh.
At the onset, a welcome address was delivered by Mr. S.P. Bansal, Chairman of the Chapter highlighting achievements of the chapter for last year and path forward.
Dr. Som Saini, past Chairman of the Punjab Chapter and a member of Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) addressed the members calling upon all to be active contributors in the Chapter’s journey. Also present were Past Chairman of NIPM (Punjab Chapter) Mr Darshan Kumar and Mr PC Sharma, who addressed and motivated the participants.
ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON LAB-OUR LAWS AT National Fertilizers Limited, NANGAL (PB)
Punjab Chapter organised a One day Off site workshop on Labour Laws at NFL Plant, Nangal on 20.11.2016 .Our Chapter Executive pooled to constitute the Faculty.
Welcome address and introduction of faculty was done by Mrs. Renu RP Singh, Dy.GM (HR) NFL and Introduction of NIPM by was given by Mr. S. B. Khullar,Vice Chairman of the Chapter. This was followed by introduction to Labour Laws by Mr. A.K. Bakshi, Hon. Secretary of the Chapter . A presentation on ESI & EPF and Minimum Wages Acts was given by Sh. Som Nath Sanka.Session on Factories Act was delivered by Sh. S. B. Khullar, and Presentation on Contract Labour (R&A) Act by Sh. S. P. Bansal. Presentation on latest developments in Labour Law enactments was made by Sh. A. K. Bakshi. Training programs
